RULES OF THE PEER-REVIEW PROCESS The review process of academic journal articles intended for publication in the main section of the Czech Environmental Law Review – the “Main Topic” – comprises of several levels. The articles are considered by two different reviewers chosen from the advisory board and one professional recommended by the editor or by a member of the advisory board. The author and the reviewer are not supposed to know each other. Based on the consideration of the reviewers the article can be accepted for a review or sent back with objections or comments. The author can be asked to amend the article. The article is then passed on into the anonymous review process which intends to provide different opinions on the article and open the ways either for publication or refusal of the article. Both possibilities must be substantiated by the reviewer. ♠♠
