Case law of the Constitutional Court on the Building Act
Summary: The recodification of public building law in the Czech republic and the adoption of a new Building Act (No. 283/2021 Coll.) provide an opportunity to take a closer look at the existing case law of the Constitutional Court on the building law still in force. The purpose of this paper is to present the most important decisions (especially the findings) of the Constitutional Court relating to individual substantive or procedural institutes of building law enshrined in the Building Act of 2006 (No. 183/2006 Coll.), as well as in the previous Building Act of 1976 (No. 50/1976 Coll.).
