VICTORIA V. ROMANOVA CYIL 11 (2020) transportation of spent nuclear fuel; exchange of information and experience in the field of licensing and supervision of nuclear facilities and activities, and nuclear and radiation safety and physical protection, etc. The treaty sets out the provisions on corporate governance in the project company, the procedure for providing a land plot, the procedure for issuing licenses, permits required for the construction of the facility and so forth. In February 2017, the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) approved the design parameters for the Akkuyu NPP site. On October 20, 2017, Akkuyu Nuclear JSC received a limited construction permit from TAEK, which is an important step towards obtaining a license for the construction of nuclear power plants. In December 2019, Akkuyu Nuclear JSC signed an agreement withTEIAS to connect Akkuyu NPP to the Turkish energy system 22 . At the scientific and practical events on atomic law the representatives of the legal unit of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation noted that the executed intergovernmental treaty rendered great assistance in the implementation of the project 23 . 5. Conclusions To date, the level of global regulation in the field of nuclear energy use is the most detailed and developed in comparison with global regulation in other energy sectors. The provisions stipulated in multilateral interstate treaties are transposed in national laws, developed at the level of intergovernmental and interagency treaties. Global regulation in the field of nuclear energy use covers many areas of cooperation continuously expanding and requiring attention, study, research in order to develop legal support. At the same time, the main goal remains unchanged – legal support of energy and nuclear safety. For the further development of global regulation in the field of nuclear energy use, it is deemed relevant to conduct joint comparative legal research on nuclear law, international scientific and practical events to exchange views, discuss the results of research, including on the pages of international scientific publications, collections, active development of the school of nuclear law at the national and international levels. I would like to thank the Czech Yearbook of Public and Private International Law for the invitation and the opportunity to take part in the section on nuclear law. This is a great opportunity to share own research with lawyers from different countries, an excellent platform for the exchange of views and the development of scientific cooperation in such an important area.
