MARTINA GROCHOVÁ – ĽUBOMÍR MAJERČÍK CYIL 11 (2020) In face of COVID-19 a number of rules and measures were recently adopted in all member states. Those measures, which constitute a serious interference with human rights, are often adopted in haste, by small groups of people, without any reasoning and in time of distress. Legal professionals call for the legality and proportionality of the measures adopted and for the necessity of reasoning not to be forgotten in this situation, despite its seriousness. Who else but the European Court of Human Rights should set a good example?
