The reporting system based on the idea of human rights at the universal level, and the approach adopted after 1966 assumes that reports and debates about good and bad practices related to compliance will improve the system itself and the willingness of states to fulfill their obligations as reports are considered more friendly procedure than individual complaints. Over time many successes on the universal level have been achieved, the UN system of human rights treaties and their bodies has developed. The organization has contributed to a significant expansion of the protection of human rights and raising awareness of their
