KATARÍNA ŠMIGOVÁ CYIL 13 ȍ2022Ȏ recognize other possibilities of criminal investigations of high officials than those that involve active participation of the Security Council if a state is not a party to the Rome Statute nor waives immunities of its high officials. Otherwise even the idea of another international judicial body would have to include the defeat of Russia or its capitulation to overcome the procedural obstacle of immunities. Nevertheless, to conclude, we might be a witness of historical milestone that will lead to another developmental landmark in the area of interstate relations.
