CYIL vol. 13 (2022)

MILAN LIPOVSKÝ CYIL 13 ȍ2022Ȏ two entities governed by the Convention for International Sale of Goods. The team has participated in both the Vienna and Hong Kong branches of the competition. During spring, the team took part in more than 50 pleadings and pleaded in 9 pre-moots that were both in hybrid and in in-person form, placing as the 2 nd best team of the LCIA-LSE Pre-Moot. For the first time in history, the team was awarded with an honourable mention prize for both the Claimant and the Respondent memorandum. Last but not least, Tomáš Ryza, Lukáš Jirásek, and Kamila Straková (Hana Láníková and Pavlína Krausová coaching) competed in the IIMC Colombo – Investor-State Mediation Competition also focusing on mediation and negotiation techniques. Let me conclude with a congratulations to all the participating students and a wish that they will continue in their efforts that bring incomparable experience to their studies and career.
