PETR VÁLEK CYIL 14 (2023) will have to be found: when and how the Compensation Mechanism will be established? What assets of the Russian Federation could be put into the future compensation fund, without violating the jurisdictional immunities of States and their property? The Register of Damage will undoubtedly create expectations of the Ukrainian claimants that the damage, loss or injury they suffered by the Russian aggression will be compensated. As such, the second, more difficult half of the work still remains to be done.
