RADKA MacGREGOR PELIKÁNOVÁ apply the right to repair in an effective and efficient manner, then Europeans are going to get their goods repaired while taking advantage of a special platform and appropriate forms and without the fear of a lack of spare parts or other artificial legal, economic, or technical obstacles. In sum, the Commandment “You shall repair” is an audacious pro-sustainability move of EU institutions with the potential to change the global scenery and match the UN and EU endeavors towards SDGs. The near future will show whether there is a determination and willingness to materialize it, i.e., whether the conceptual foundation of the right to repair will contribute to the very desirable pro-sustainability consumer protection in the EU.
