transfer of responsibility for public sector digitalization from the former Agency for Governmental Management, with the aim of further consolidating and strengthening public sector efficiency and effectiveness. The main responsibility of this Agency is to contribute to the fulfilment of political visions, strategy, understanding and development of relevant ICT suitable for the digitalization of public administration. Another ministry responsible for coordinating the management of the Danish e-Government is the Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs . The ministry is responsible for digitalizing a range of policies that are essential to the business environment, including trade regulation, intellectual property rights, competition and consumer policy, as well as the financial sector and, last but not least, shipping. The ministry is working to support the digitalization of the business environment and government-enterprise services. The Danish Business Portal is completely within the responsibility of the Danish Business Authority , which is an agency under this ministry. All digitalization of public administration in relation to companies takes place in full cooperation with the Ministry of Finance. The last of the ministries responsible for coordination management is the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities . It is primarily responsible for telecommunications policy, including roaming, as well as for regulating competition and the penetration of mobile and broadband services. Given that two ministries and one ministerial agency contribute to the coordination of e-Government management, coordination of implementation is essential. It is the responsibility of the Agency for Digitisation (see below) and the Agency for Governmental IT Services, which also falls under the Ministry of Finance. The Agency for Digitisation has full responsibility for the implementation of e-Government strategies and policies from the initial concept to the final implementation. Therefore, it needs to coordinate the efforts and individual key players to ensure the benefits of the implementation of the Danish e-Government. This agency also coordinates the Steering Committee for the e-Government Strategy, which is composed of interest groups at all levels of government. The Agency for Governmental IT Services was established in 2010 as a shared services center for central government institutions providing basic ICT services by merging eight ministerial operational ICT organizations. In the first five years of its operation (2010–2014), it worked on the harmonization and standardization of different ICT platforms used at different levels of government into one common operational platform, with the aim of achieving higher quality at lower costs.
