• assessment of maximum shaft deflections and gear wheel tilting of MQ 100 based on data measured at VŠB-TU Ostrava and Energotech Praha • evaluation of production accuracy of gear wheels MQ 200 and MQ 100 • checking, geometric and strength calculations of the MQ 280 gearbox • checking, geometric and strength calculations of the MQ 350 gearbox • development of a new methodology for obtaining and evaluating tooth imprints (Ph.D.) • proposal of measuring of tilting of individual wheels on needle bearings (Ph.D.) • elaboration of utilization of TE measurement results in automotive gearboxes including design and production of modern testing equipment. 4. Conclusion The thirty-year cooperation of both partners was certainly very useful for both parties. For hundreds of our students, who could get acquainted with applications of scientific knowledge in the advanced automotive industry, it was also valuable. Many of them were actively involved in the creation of their diploma or doctoral theses, as well as in the trainee programs in Škoda. Furthermore, it is clear that many top technical reports and articles have been produced. Among them this nice book (Fig. 11). Our workplace contributed to the growth of the professional level of the car manufacturer’s employees. Among other things, two important employees of Škoda successfully completed their doctoral studies. The current situation in the automotive industry is somewhat volatile, but we firmly believe that mutual cooperation will continue to benefit both parties and this country.
