Source: Czech Statistical Office, CZ-CPA CL 29 While the industrial prices of nal automobile manufacturers (automobile companies) in the Czech Republic have increased by 25.5% from 2015 to 2023 (7% year-on-year in 2023), the production prices of their suppliers (manufacturers of parts, components and equipment) have decreased by 6.2% over the same period. is divergence re ects the pressure of automobile companies on the e ciency and price competitiveness of their suppliers. In 2023 alone, industry prices for parts and accessories manufacturers rose for the second year in a row, but rates of 1.1% in 2022 and 2.7% in 2023 cannot match the rest of the industry, which as a whole saw price increases of 24% in 2022 and 5% in 2023.
