The changes in the central government bodies in the field of environmental and climate protection in Poland during 2020 and 2021 Summary The subject of the article are central environment and climate protection bodies in Poland. This article is a follow-up to an article by both authors published in the magazine Czech Environmental Law Review in the 2/2020 issue. The authors presented the brand new transformation of the amendment to the government administration departments in 2020 and 2021. Compared to the previous period, the environment and climate ministries have been merged back into one ministry in 2020. In other changes, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Inland Navigation was abolished by decree of the Council of Ministers. Another new feature is the establishment of „government commissioners“ for selected environmental issues that are not entrusted to individual ministers. In connection with the organizational changes, changed many environmental regulations.
